WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS?

Un implante dental es una prótesis que interactúa con el hueso de la mandíbula o el cráneo para soportar una prótesis dental, como una corona, un puente, una dentadura postiza o una prótesis facial, o para actuar como un ancla de ortodoncia.

A natural tooth consists of a root and a crown. If you compare natural teeth to implant-supported replacement teeth, you'll see they have the same essential parts. Both have a crown (the visible part used to chew food). Both have a root that holds the tooth securely under the gum and is anchored into the jaw.

The difference is that the implant is made of titanium – the same time-tested material surgeons use for artificial joints. You lose both the root and crown when you lose a tooth. To replace the tooth, the surgeon first replaces the root with a small dental implant.

COMPUTERIZED PLANNING

The digital implant workflow saves clinicians time and makes the process more efficient.

The development of digital planning and drilling protocols has also eliminated situations where mistakes can be made. In short, technology helps the team to be more precise and safe in their work.

Unsurpassed Priorities

Our vision and main objective have always been the same; to attend to and take care of our patients in the most personalized and attentive way possible.

Dr. Alejo Villarreal and his team changed my life. I had a fabulous experience and I can say that they are the best team in the field of implants.

REHABILITACIÓN DENTAL Vs DENTAL IMPLANTS

CONVENTIONAL

For fixed dental bridges, you must grind adjacent teeth which eventually produces the loss of the adjacent teeth.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

They can be unitary (independent) and can be placed without grinding adjacent teeth with a similar function while looking natural.

CONVENTIONAL

Less aesthetically pleasing and can be easily detected because of the need to modify adjacent teeth.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

Aesthetically, they are better because they replicate with more precision the natural teeth, making them less noticeable.

CONVENTIONAL

They can be fixed (without having to remove them) and cover large gaps of missing teeth, replacing the uncomfortable partial removable dentures.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

For toothless patients, they can avoid mobility on the total dentures, giving them support, better stability, and aesthetics.

CONVENTIONAL

In patients without teeth, full dentures often have a lot of mobility, causing difficulty in speaking and chewing.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

They can support total dentures for patients without teeth, preventing mobility and giving them greater stability, support and aesthetics.

WHAT OUR WONDERFUL PATIENTS SAY
ABOUT US

I can’t thank you enough for the change you have made in my life. For the longest time, I avoided smiling, and that affected me emotionally. Thanks for giving me my smile back.
